"The Joint" - Ensemble Mosaik (Berlin) & Ensemble Nikel (Tel Aviv)

For the celebrations of 100 years to the city of Tel Aviv, ensemble nikel from Tel Aviv and ensemble mosaik from Berlin will share the same stage in a unique concert ranging through acoustic, electronic, electroacoustic and multimedia pieces with a special spotlight on one of the leading composers of our time, the German composer, Helmut Oehring.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for the local audience to get acquainted with his special sound world, always challenging and daring to take the listeners on an audio-visual documental journey.
The highlight of this event will be the premiere of a piece Oehring composed for both ensembles based on the musician's biographies. This will be joined by other premieres and recent pieces by a great variety of leading composers form Israel and around the world.
